Hello, welcome to the RajcaLab Weblog. We wish you a very Happy Holidays…
Were you hard at work on Christmas Day this year? According to an interesting correspondence to Nature 450, 1156, 2007, doi:10.1038/4501156a, there were about 600% more manuscripts received by journals on 25 December 2006 than in 1996. The authors searched for “Received on 25 December [year]”, using Google Scholar, to find out how many submissions were made to academic journals on Christmas Day between 1996 to 2006. Wondering how many of those were chemistry related manuscripts?
Well, I did not work on Christmas Day but my laptop was on and I was wandering into the blogsphere! The idea of creating a blog has been for awhile. So, now we have it, the RajcaLab Weblog. Creating and keeping up our group website is something that I like to do and enjoy doing it in my spare time, more or less as hobby. Though, keeping up with the blog will be a new challenge. I hope to be able to posts on a regular basis the topics that would be interesting, fun and helpful. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
Welcome to the chemistry blogosphere!
Always nice to see more organic chemistry on here….
