Penny,
We got the set shown in the picture (body, PBH stand, 10x eyepieces) plus polarization accessories (filter and plate) and a spare bulb. If you don't need the polarization, the price for set is $1400, as you can see from the CMS web catalog (click the link to CMS in the main post). I believe shipping was free. We are satisfied with the products, everything looks good and works properly, yeah except we could not figure it out where to place the reticle. But that was our problem, and it wasn't a big deal to figure it out. The microscope set was recommended to us by Dr. Maren Pink, our crystallographer and fantastic collaborator. We searched for the best price and found CMS, hope it was the right place.... You may want to correspond with CMS before you place the order to make sure that they have everything in stock and will be shipped promptly.

I am considering purchasing the same steromicroscope for use in plant tissue culture. You mentioned that you bought this one at under $1700. Did this price include the body, stand, eyepieces, and focusing block, i.e. was it a complete set when you bought it? Were you satisfied with the condition of the microscope and the company you purchased it from?
Thank you!
